As Ekta turned extremely successful for Vidya Balan, it is been speculated whether the filmmaker will also turned same lucky for Kareena Kapoor as well. Kareena Kapoor has now been finalized for doing the next film with Ekta and co-produced by Karan johar.
Kareena was first choice for the film but in between Kareena backed out, and Deepika took her place. This could have been due to Ram Leela, and the fact that Kareena was a choice for the lead in that one too.
But again Sanjay Leela Bhansali settled with Deepika for Ram Leela, and now finally again Kareena is back into the film. She has been cast opposite Emran Hashmi.
